Would love for the boys to lift for Hoops' 200th. Much-maligned, but he's been a very good servant through some extremely wretched times, and deserves to enjoy playing for the Navy Blue.

(Don't forget, we were one of the top dogs when he first came into the system, then had a front row seat as it all came crashing down)

Dunno how to embed Youtube vids here (or even if I can) but the Club just put up a little highlight reel for Hoops' 200th, with a few nifty little takedowns also

Loves this.
I reckon the tackles were included to quieten down the nay sayers.
Yes...Hoops can tackle..and no ..not everyone is Robbo.
A team is ideally made up of players with differing, and complimentary skills.

ps. If any Carlton fans decide to boo 33 I will personally thwack you...
and...
I know this little alien that is very scary when unleashed.
Go Hoops.

Pretty rare occurrence to hit 200 games in Navy Blue, so a feat to behold.

Some say he was lucky to have played in this era as Carlton was poor over the last decade; I would say that this has been our highest turnover periods in history so for this sort of longevity - and commitment to navy Blue - he must be doing a lot right.

200 games, great work Houla....

A rash of 50 gamer milestones are coming up:
Garlett - 48 games
Hampson- 44 games
Henderson - 43 games
Robinson - 43 games
Warnock - 47 games
Yarran - 39 games

Add to that;
Armfield - 55 games
Bower - 60 games
Jamison - 68 games
Joseph - 50 games
Kreuzer - 64 games

On this basis there should be a fair degree of natural improvement and maturity still to come. Discuss.

If Hendo, Robbie & Hampson crack 50 games this year, I think we'll be a happy bunch.

Nice for Jeffy to play his 50th in his home state.

He needs 9 more goals to get to 100 career goals too.

I'm not sure about the collective noun 'rash'.

Can I suggest the collective noun for a Carlton 50 gamer be an "O'Sullivan"?

Good one. And the collective noun for Carlton 100 gamers should be an "Oscar"....

Could we win 5 in a row for the first time since Round 18, 2000?

From the Bluesuem

Take 2.... we've won 4 in a row now, and Hawthorn could be #5.....

Note also if hawthorn wins they will have a record winning streak of 8 games against us....

On our numbers Simmo should equal Jim Francis' record in the Round 24 fixture against St Kilda, before breaking the record in the first Final.

142 games is pretty impressive!

NB Other posts in here around Doull's record which included State Games in the count as well

Outstanding effort considering his body shape and the fearless nature in which he plays his footy.
