By the way any other TC'ers who remember John Warden?

My memory is of a skinny red-head wing/HFF who had a dip but with limited skill.

Absolutely I remember him. Came on the scene about the same time as Phil Pinnell.
Raw boned ranga. Probably could have played more senior games, but it was a pretty good unit he was trying to crack into. Yes he was no46, but he also wore no9. Don't know how many games he played in each.

John Warden played 2 games wearing No.9 in 1972 and 9 games in No.46 in 1971

Russell's 100th match coming up!

Walker also kicked his 50th goal in AFL football against the Swans in a nice touch.

Also this week, Scotland overtakes Beaumont's games record in number #29!

Beaumont's scientific brick training could have meant Scotland would be playing his 400th this week.

We've searched our historical database and can find no reference to WTF this all refers to?

The irony of that article is how we finished higher than Hawthorn in 2004.

GIbbs' 100th coming up in 2 weeks!

Afew 150ths too in Simpson and Waite before the end of the year...

Hopefully too Houlihan can make it back soon and crack the 200 games for Carlton....

Can anyone remember the last person to rack up their 200th Carlton game (excluding Scotland, Judd etc. who played some of those elsewhere):

Yes. Lappin only got to 196 games and Nick Stevens also reached 200 AFL games in 2008, but the last person to bring up their 200th game for Carlton was Whitnall.

Separately, in Round 9 Waite became Carlton's top goalkicker in Guernsey #30 when he overtook Albert 'Mick' Price.

Eddie Betts overtook Ron 'Socks' Cooper last year. Tb, welcome back to the site and thanks for highlighting that record. It was only when we saw the change you had done we added details of records broken over the past few years:

- Eddie Betts' 171st overtaking Cooper
- Waite's 164th overtaking Price
- Ellard's third overtaking Mark Porter
- Garlett's 51st overtaking Rohan Welsh.
