Well Blueseum, I'd add one more potential milestone to that list.

Kade Simpson.

If all goes to plan, not only will Simpson be captain Round 3 2010, he will also be playing his 100th consecutive H&A game for the Blues!

Outstanding work verbs - good pick-up. All those apples must have given you keen intellect and observation skills.

Have added this to the Milestone List....

...and also compared it to the previous records for Carlton players and consecutive games:

Good point kjc, shall add that. Judd needs to play 22 in 2010 and Scotland 24, so they are both on schedule to make it on or around the Grand Final, too.

Some big milestones this week:

Betts' 100th match

and

Simmo's 100th consecutive match (thanks verbs).

Dennis Commetti mentioned that Scotland was making the 200 club v. Brisbane. Is that 200 overall games in cluding pre-season games? We have him at 178.

From WillowBlue:

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... +2%2C+2010

Heath Scotland qualified for membership of the AFL 200 Club in this game that was his 125th game for Carlton. (His 200 AFL game breakdown consists on 178 Home & Away and Finals (125 at Carlton and 53 at Collingwood) and 22 Pre season competition games (14 at Carlton and 8 at Collingwood)).

As an aside, Jamison will equal Jimmy Plunkett's record for games played in Guernsey 40 this week whilst being Acting Captain.

At 37 games this week, he will equal 'JP' and looks likely to be the first Blue to crack the 50 game barrier this year.

Absolutely he did... Jamison will be the first Blue in guernsey #40 to hit 50 games!

In Round 7, Kreuzer will play his 50th match at AFL level. McLean will play his 100th AFL match in the same fixture.

The question is - are these the best first 50 games for a Carlton ruckman, ever?

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... Milestones

Kreuzer's 50th this week.

Subject to selection, McLean's 100th.

Setanta's 50th AFL goal is also a chance based on form (but difficult based on opponent).

EDIT: Also his 50th game straight

EDIT: Also his 50th game straight. Not a bad effort for a young ruckman....

Just a few things to keep your eye out for:

- Setanta's 50th goal (on 47)
- Juddy close to his 50th game for Carlton
- Houlihan is getting close to 200 (on 189)
- Jamison's first goal (41 games, zero goals)
- Jamison becoming the first Blue to play 50 games in #40

This week marks Judd's 100th game as captain of an AFL club with 49 games as captain for WCE and now 51 for the Blues.

After such a ripping 49th goal, Scotland is only 1 more major away from his 50th goal for Carlton:

He finally managed his 50th - and 51st - goal. Not bad ones either!

We've been advised by 'WillowBlue' that Yarran's goal in the third last week was Carlton's 28,000th league goal. To put that into perspective, the great Stephen Kernahan holds our goal kicking record and has contributed 2.6% of all Carlton goals ever.

For this and other stats of more or less interest check in to the site!
