We have won 7 from our last 11.

We probably need to win another 5 (possibly 4) from the last 8 to be sure of a spot.

They are against:

St Kilda (MCG)
Sydney (TD)
Western Bulldogs (TD)
Adelaide (AAMI)
Port Adelaide (TD)
North Melbourne (TD)
Brisbane (Gabba)
Hawthorn (Telstra)

Not easy, but definitely in control of our destiny. Would of preferred more games at MCG though!

The games against St Kilda, North Melbourne - and possibly Adelaide are going to be the most important, as I think all three will be vying to fill out the bottom half of the 8.

The best thing is that those games are winnable - as is the game against Port.

That's four wins.

We'd need to win all of those (no easy task) - then cause an upset against one of Sydney, Bulldogs, Hawthorn or Brisbane to give us five wins.

Then hopefully we'll be in the 8 at the end of Round 22.


...see, still no mention of that F-word.


To be honest, I'm just keen to see how we track at the end of each week - it would be interesting to see our ladder position in three matches time, after the Saints, Sydney and the Dogs.

I think by then we'll have a much clearer idea.
