Pros

Melvey coming on this week to tell us all about it.

Cons

Melvey coming on this week to tell us all about it.

Melvey..........no matter how you want to spin it.........a win is a win is and win and it's better than a flaming loss any old day of the week.

Pros

Gibbs (pales like a Brownlow medallist; unfussed, unphazed, calculating, poise) All class

Waite. man this guy is desperate to win everything. What an athlete. Love him on the wing.

Won without Judd, Walker, Bower, Hadley, Houlihan, Bannister and Armfield

Betts; he's really turned it on in 2008. Dark, deadly and dangerous

Anderson looks good

Bentick. Tough, uncompromising, made things happem

Stevens. 10 tackles

Fish, Wiggins, Edwards, Fev and Cloke/Kruezer forward set up was much better when spreading the load.

Have to say this: Best game ever by Wiggins.

Scotland was just terrific with his git busting run and carry

Simmo as usual put his body on the line

Kreuzer; this kid is special and will just get better. Great reader of the game' creates attack.

The kids

We're in the 8 again (not that it matters). A draw between Aints and Kangas will keep us in.

CONS

The disposal by foot and hand very average, expecially in the first quarter.

We have to drop players for the Aints game to make way for Judd, Walker, Armfield and maybe Bannister and Hammer.

Solid win today without Judd. Well done Blueys. Puts last week's deplorable effort into perspective.

PROS

1. Stevens - I will admit I am not in the 'A grade' camp, and his first quarter was full of what we dislike - lazy defensive efforts and lack of 1 percenters. Then BANG! After quarter time he was everywhere, tackling, winning HBG's am=nd delivering inside 50. A grade game.

2. Waite - Building a very nice year Waitey and his brain is letting him down less than it used to (although it still can at times).

3. Gibbs - opposition supporters that rubbish us about Gibbs will eat their words.

4. Grigg - starting to look very useful

5. Simpson - most consistent player at the club

Special mentions to Browne (looked like he belonged), Kreuzer (still think he needs a rest), bentick, and our improved forward options after quarter time

CONS

1. Setanta - Oh lord, one of the all time shockers. No way in our best 22 going forward. Bower and Austin will replace him.

2. Murphy - he's had 2 shockers our little champ. Bounce back smurpha

3. Kick outs - poor offensively and defensively today. Work it out Ratts.

4. Ruck - I reckon Hampson should be playing, it was a shame he was so bad against collingwood.

5. Pretty good day today, I can't think of another con (well I won't mention the other as he's a very emotive player round these parts). Well done blues

A good win. If we do miss out on the finals it will be because of 2 losses to a rubbish Essendon*. But that doesn't matter. Our kids are growing.

Rest up well and let's smash the Saints.

I thought Waitey was B.O.G. ... S.O.O game did him the world of good I reckon

Gibbsy changed gears at 1/4 time and burnt of Delidio and the others.

Stevo turned up to play after 1/2 time and was very good.

Grigg is a revelation. Has come in leaps and bounds with some game time.

Browney is a gem. Does a lot of 'unpretty' things which can go unnoticed.

Joey did a couple of really crucial assists.

AB bounced back with a very good game.

Kroooz is just a freak.

We beat the ferals on their big day :-D
