The front page of news.com.au is currently showing this image 
in relation to this article. Son appalled by footy club's tribute to killer It has nothing to do with Carlton, yet the casual browser that doesn't read the article, would think that it's about Carlton. Yet another example of the Carlton hatred of some corners of the media. |

What really upsets me is that it's a picture of David Ellard who was wearing the two arm bands for the two mates he lost. You'd think they could find something more appropriate. |

I suspect the Carlton picture appears because the article mentions a Mr Parkin and the Herald-Sun and News Ltd. website may identify Parkin with Carlton. It annoys me no end to look at the Hun's Carlton page and get Essendon* articles because they mention Carlton. There's an article about the draft on Carlton's Herald-Sun page with a picture of Cooney because it mentions Marc Murphy. Just a theory. Their search or metatags are hopeless. If you search for Parkin footy on Google News it will come up with the article about that murderer as the first result. |
