Billionare Dick Pratt faces jail

Not really sure what to make of that. Nothing new being revealed, and you'd think Pratt will be able to afford some decent defence lawyers, but it will give the usual suspects some ammunition.

This one looks like it could stick to dick and will at least mean he can't stay on as president...

Succession plans needed - seriously!

SEN is having a field day. I heard [Patrick Smith] is extremely excited.

These things go hand in hand. Dick was not fined personally (the company and some managers were) during the original case and it was clear the ACCC was very disappointed about it. So now they are trying to get him the other way by claiming he lied during the investigation.

I have a feeling that legally they have not much to stand on, but they will achieve that Pratt gets dragged through the mud.... these guys can be a vindictive bunch.

The interesting part is the presidency. The media will now form a pack to claim its pound of flesh.

If Pratt / the board think he is in a legally strong position, they should tell them to flower off.

Who gives a shit about what Smith says?

He's just trying to deflect from the stinking pile of manure which is his "beloved" club.

The headlines don't look good, but it will probably just disappear after a week or so, and will be forgotten by all (except for pathetic newspaper opinion writers with a strange obsession with our club).

At the end of the day, it's the members who decide whether he stays or goes and this SYCHOPHANT WANTS HIM TO STAY.

Pratt has done his work, set the wheels in motion, I'm sure someone is ready to assume the role as President next season as originally planned.

As far as 2008 goes he is still President so Patrick just prepare yourself for the calls coming your way next week when we flog your mob.

This is frustrating, he'll get dragged through the courts in a prolonged process - and the media won't shut up about it.

Amazing though, I am not sure what happened to innocent until proven otherwise, I don't see why his presidency should be in doubt.

We still need him, his job isn't finished yet.

Everybody got fixated on Elliot with Pratt... but one of Pratts chargers and main chances as a succesor was on the bottom left corner of that picture in front of them

If they jailed everyone who told a porkie in court, they'd have to start building a few more detention centres.

Collusion goes on everywhere everyday in every industry. Amcor are a bunch of spineless turds.

Stay on until the court case, Dick, let's win a flag with you as Pres  .

Personally I think that he will only recieve a relatively high fine, but no jail time. This will not be a good view for the club and as much as I would love Pratt to stay on, I can't see how this would be possible as perjury is a much more personal crime than price fixing
