All these boys have been given a go and a chance to show their talents (although Hadley's sadly been cut down). So who do you think has represented the best value of these new acquisitions to the club? |

Armfield and Browne will both play 200. Hadley I think is great value, although whether there is room for him and Bentick in the side is an interesting question. Pfiefer I am nonplussed about. |

I would have to say Browne as he played a few games with absolute composure beyond his years.... |

Armfield and Browne have been very good pickups IMO. Armfield with his pace and precision really helps him on gameday and I believe he is doing his job well. (Was Armfield part of the Judd traid!? pick 46.) And I don't know why, but Browne reminds me of another Marc Murphy, he runs like him and disposes the ball very similarily to him. Which is a very good thing. I feel that Pffeif hasn't shown as much as these other two. But if he continues to progress, he will be a good players. And unfortunately Hadley has been struck down with injuries, and to be honest I don't believe that he has had enough match time to judge him properly. Another one is Joey Anderson, the few 2nds games I have been to he has been a shining light and a tough nut, he must be very close to selection in the 1sts... He is one to look out for ![]() For me in this order it would be Browne, Armfield, Hadley, Pffeifer. Subject to change. |

I think Hadley will be a great pick up when he can keep his body together. Pfiff was a pretty cheap pick up is developing well. The two from WA are both very hard at it and great deapth for the club. Keep them all for sure! |

they have all be great pickups so far. hadley is a bit injury prone it seems - but if he can get his body right and show form in the twos he's probably a better alternative to bentick, as he is more mobile and can probably hurt more with his possies. bentick is doing a awesome job however and is earning his spot. pheiff looks good although a tad on the slow side. plenty of scope for improvement and adds good depth. i've always had faith amry would make it and IMO he thrives on competition so will play better in the ones. he looks great and i love the way he back himself and gets to contests. browne has probably been the one which has surprised me most. sounds like he was a bit of a steal for pick 36. he looks like a genuine footballers and is doing well. it's great that some of our kids are really comming on. i couldn't be happier with the kids that ratts has blodded and picked up in last years draft. |

Our side is looking pretty full atm and can we afford to have 2 similar players in Bentick and Hadley in the team? It could be detrimental, or it could just make us the best clearance team in the comp. ![]() |

After seeing Armfield in the pre-season, he looked more than capable & he should have been in the side alot earlier than he was. Browne looks assured & composed & it's these very handy lower draft picks that will prove an absolute bonus on our way to No. 17. |

Army - great ability to read the play. Great finishing skills. Pfeiff - Hits a contest very hard with good skills. Is a true utility - could kick goals/be run-with or HBFer/midfielder Hadley - injuries may limit him Browne - good small forward but not as versatile as the top 2. Looks a bit like Mick Mansfield |

I Know Jamison is not part of the topic, but he's only played about 13 games & has shown he'll be the backbone of the defence for many years to come. |

Armfield no question... his run and the way he backs himself is fantastic, ive been very impressed. He had a job on some dangerous blokes vs collingwood ( Thomas and Davis ) and he done superbly whilst finding a bit of the ball himself... he has really impressed me, very happy with him. |

I havnever seen a defender settle in to such an important position so quickly as Jamo has. He's gonna be a superstar, AA, premiership defender ![]() |

He's gonna be a superstar, AA, premiership defender ![]() Jamo is great. The thing I like most about him is that if he loses a contest, you can tell he is genuinely upset. But he doesn't take it out on anyone nor does he crack the sh*ts. He just gets on with it and wins the next contest. I may be wrong, but I don't think I have ever seen Jamo lose two contests in a row. That says a lot about his maturity and desire to succeed. He has his head screwed on right. He knows opportunity is hard to come by and when he gets it, he won't be letting it go. That's what I would like to see from every single player on our list. ![]() |

Mate thats a huge call they've played a handful of games. Just like how everyone was saying Justin Davies and Simon Wiggins would play 200 games for Carlton Murph and Gibbsy will play 200 games..... Browne and Armfield???? although they are exciting prospects. I just hope all those mentioned in this topic get games for the rest of the season and don't make way for Banno, Wiggo and Houlahan |
