Subject says it all........

There is a lot of hype on the site at the mo, and it seems fairly well placed imho given recent performances
But if we can't back up and win the next two weeks (probably 3) it would be a disservice to the hype

Agreed or not?

Agreed.

Having said that, I feel there is a difference around the club at the moment.

The likes of Ratts, Judd and the coaching panel will not allow the players to get ahead of themselves. Most of them have been there in the darkest years to take anything for granted.

Judd and Ratts will steer them to the promised land.

Agree Blue Kiwi.

That said, the press conference from Ratten was very positive. He was adamant that the hard work starts now. Yes a place in the finals is there for the taking, but we have to earn it by continuing to win.

If the players take the mindset demonstrated by our coach then they will handle these upcoming games very well.

Don't know about it all being undone...we have done well so far and I still expect us to play finals.

However, if either we a) don't play finals, or b) we lose the next two, I wouldn't have thought our progress would be undone.

We have shown a lot this year considering the injuries and the inexperience in our young team. I think at this point of the season, we have achieved more than what was expected of us.

Inconsistency is to be expected with such a young team so I wouldn't be asking for heads to roll if we lose the next couple. However, if they can all stay focused and play as a team, anything is possible.

2 of the next 3 would be a good result.

3 of the next 3 would result in spontaneous silly dancing.

One game at a time... but we really should win the next 3.. then hit the fourth game with quite abit of momentum...

I want to beat St.Kilda so badly.

They have had the wood on us for the past 5 or so years.

Agreed but its a bit of a 'no brainer'

If we are any chance of making the eight, then we have to put these teams away.

I really want to put St Kilda to the sword! I have grown to hate them and with all the wins in recent times they have had against us .. I think we owe them a thrashing big time!

I guess I'm on both sides of the fence on my subjet title. I guess it wouldn't be all undone but more of a shame...........

Some good opinions on this one 8)

I really think we are a big chance to win the next 3 , but 1 week at a time please . We have players to come back in that time and will very get injuries , so all that has to come into it . Until sunday I didn't think we could make the 8 , but now believe there is a chance . But still we have shown a heap of improvement . The next 2 years will tell the story , and the recruiting dept. have to do their job .

Lets hope the boys can keep the momentum running into this game. No matter where both teams are on the ladder we both rise t the occasion.

I think the Bombers have a decent forward line and can kick big scores when there on. I hope Ratts does not decide go for a shoot out and the players stick to what's obviously worked for us in the last few weeks.
