One kick, one mark, no hitouts. Was on the field for most of the GAME. PATHETIC RETURN. People bag whitnall and campo, um , at least they get the fuckign pill. DELUCA JUST CROWDS THE FORWARD LINE. BRING IN BRYAN, he has a good kick on him at least. But Denis will drop a Simmo or a Bentick because Deluca is just so vital to us. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I gotta agree De Luca has done next to nothing all year. He needs to get some confidence back. By the way, what happened to his goal that wasn't allowed? Apparently there was a push-out, but it wasn't replayed at the ground. We should have been a goal down at half time if this and one or two other opportunities were taken. |

Oh get a grip!! He had a shoulder operation and 2 foot operations on the same spot in the pre season. He isnt playing well well DUHHHHHHH!!!!........ .. but he tries... what you have to look at is the blokes who are tall who arent in the side... and thats or a reason. If we had players who could push selection Deluca wouldnt be in the firsts at the moment..... Difference between Deluca and Campo and Lance is he is on base payments and theyre on big bucks... but whatever theyre on double it!!!!... did you hear that verbs????they should have their wages doubled.. stop harassing me!!! ![]() |

Synbad, I know campo and lance are over-paid, but regardless they still warrant a spot in the side. Deluca doesen't. The stats show it. If he has had so many injuries, let him regain form in the VFL. Trying is not good enough sometimes, and if it was, Glen Bowyer would be playing each week. Lets see what Bryan can do... or maybe throw Setanta in there. FUnny that, Setanta got those stats last week yet was dropped. Why is Deluca a class above the rest. He has not shown anything all year, I wish we'd kept Laurie... |

You may or may not see what Byan can do... in fact you might never ever see Bryan play footy. If he gets a game its by default.. same with Deluca.. the difference is Deluca does whats asked... If Bryan gets a game.. he got it because Denis has no options . I hope Setanta is brought back next week. |

Inconsistency...Steve Johnson pushed Wiggins in the last quarter on the line to let a goal pass...no free kick there |

Has not had an impact as either a forward or a backup ruck, not sure if this is what is being asked of him. He has had a poor few weeks, has been given every opportunity, especially with regards to game time compared to a lot of other players. I liked his output last year, but there has been a steady decline in form since the start of this season. Would like to see someone else tried in his role as forward/backup ruck. |

Although they didnt replay it on the screen. The replays the provide on the screen are TD are next to useless. Sure its great replaying marks and goals. But sometimes you want to see a mark in play or a tackle replayed, or an umpiring decision replayed. |

Synbad, without breaching confidences, what do you mean by Bryan doesn't do what he's told; on or off field? We are desperate for ruck relief, a guy who can play forward and back and can kick, is playing well at VFL, but from your comments it seems we are going to teach him a lesson? Granted he not our saviour, but I'm bored of the usual yo-yos and this guy and Carlos maybe gives some "hope" of a tall in the post-Angwin era |

![]() ![]() ![]() Very well said.Even though i don't think Setanta is up too it i would be playing him before Deluca.Give Bryan a go aswell. They can't do much worse.By the way why doesn't Deluca run around instead of standing still like a plastic cone.Everyone says he is so mobile for a big man but he never moves. He loves to stand on the goal line and let his opponent touch the ball when it's going through for a goal.If he bloody led he would take his opponent away from the goal line. |

I must say, DeLuca looks lost. I think his problem is, he's not a smart footballer, and doesn't work overly hard. Either its because he's being coached badly, or he's not crackin it. I'd drop him and let Simpson stretch out on the bench a bit, maybe put his feet up. |

Talk is around the club that De Luca has an injured fringe which is really impairing his ability to see the ball. |

Personally, I wish Glen Bowyer was playing every week. At least his tackles stick and he throws himself at the contest, rather than wait for the ball to spill to them. Deluca does need a rest and time to get his game back together - and to learn how to take a one-grab mark. |

Josh, as Synbad and Molsey have both pointed out, Archie has had injuries in the pre season and is carrying one at the moment. Can't expect a bloke who is 200cm and who shares a role in the ruck and plays up forward while carrying an injury to perform. The unfortunate part about it is that we have no other options to give Archie a rest, therefore his body and his game suffers. Not sure it was worth quoting PJ... |
