My mate is a long distance silver member and is bringing his dad across from Tasmania for the game against the filth at the 'G'. below is his question:
Quote:
I'm after bit of inside info. I'm taking my Dad over there next round (Sunday the 15th) to see a game (vs Collingwood @ the Gee). We're both Silver Long Distance 5 members, which allows entry to any 5 home or away games through the season.
Do you know if we rock up to the MCG for a game against the Pies, what chances we will have of actually getting a seat with this membership ? I take it there's a limited seating section set aside for Silver members which is not reserved.
Also, if it looks like it will be too hard to get a seat just turning up, & we decide to pay for & reserve a seat, is there a way to ensure that we are sitting with humans (ie, other Blues supporters !!!) when we book ??
any info you have would be great.
I've told him that the game will be pretty busy and that the silver member's area will fill up quickly so if he wants a seat there to get in quick. Regarding the question about the reserved seat being with other Carlton supporters, I wasnt sure. I know there would be loads out there with an answer, can anybody help out my mate?
Cheers,
