Post subject:  Stevens & Scotland - 'downhill skiers'??

If you think they are downhill skiers, what playing role should they play in 2009 and beyond (assuming they won't be traded as they've been deemed 'leaders')?

Stevens and Scotland have a role to play in the team, and do it very well. I'd like it if they got into contests more, but certainly don't subscribe to the belief that every time we lose it's their fault.

I can't see much point to this thread other than to stir up trouble and have the H-S write that 74% of Carlton supporters think Scotland and........
Really isn't there ample opportunity to view your opinion in the Talking Players forum or in the matchday thread and you can giage people's opinion there. Starting a poll is of no positive benefit.

These guys are two of our best users of the ball by foot on our list. They may not be in and under types, but that does not lessen their value to our team.
