I saw the incident and there was nothing to it. There was no force whatsoever and based on the number of dives taken by Freo players ALL day, it wouldn't surprise me if he was staging for a free.

Waite, 25, has been charged with a level one striking offence for his clash with the young Docker during Saturday's match at Telstra Dome. The match review panel handed the forward/defender 80 demerit points for his action.

A total of 97.75 carry-over points from within the last 12 months pushes Waite over the one-match ban threshold, which cannot be reduced to less than 100 points even with an early plea.

The Blues will have to clear Waite's name at Tuesday night's tribunal if they want him to play against Geelong at Telstra Dome this weekend.

There was no elbow, there was no forearm, there was no fist. There was no real finesse to it at all.

He looked like a girl trying to hit a guy. :-D

Haven't seen the incident, but with all the outs we've currently got through injuries, we really can't afford to have guys missing through suspension.

From those that watch the Bullants, who is gonna take Waite's spot?

It was Mayne that he hit. It was in the last quarter. He hit him in the face, it was soft but a really silly thing to do.

Waite has a reputation for trying to be tough. Foolish. And Fevola better watch out or he'll be pinged for late tackles/bumps/aggression that he continually puts on players after they dispose of the ball. Lack of discipline and stupidity.

Our record at the tribunal has been great over past years. Fev copped a couple of suspensions, maybe a 2 week one for an incident with Grover, but other than that we have a pretty good record. I couldn't tell you the last time a Carlton player got more than 3 weeks....it was probably Williams. Imagine if we had a record like Hawthorn?
