Agro, I can tell you Chris Judd played for the Sandringham Zebras as a junior and if you ever wander down to their ground and into their rooms u see the name C.Judd on every plaque on every wall.
One story i heard Tim Watson tell about Judd (as Jobe Watson was a teamate of Judds at the Zebras) was that Tim always thought Judd was a hog as he used to play in the ruck and tap it to himself, then run the ball out and have a shot.

Judd then moved onto the Sandy Dragons, where he played with Luke Ball. Also played for Caulf Grammer.

Thats all i got.
Hope it helps

Kruezer played for St Marys in Greensborough.
I believe they are the largest junior club in Australia. Other Carlton players produced from there include Nick Stevens and Daniel Harford.

If you go to the Yarra Junior Football League website (yarrajfl.org.au), you can read about St Marys.

Kruezer then went on to the Northern Knights.

Looking up the St.Mary's website should provide you with some information on where 'Krueze' started his footy - http://www.stmarysfc.org.au

The Yarra JFL was an amalgamation of the Hawthorn JFL in 1997 with my old League - the Doncaster District Junior Football League - which on it's own was one of the biggest junior footy league's in the country. Great place to play junior footy in the 80's...my most vivid memory is playing under 14's in 1987 for Doncaster Heights at the Beverly Hills ground which was about 2 foot of mud. After quarter time we couldn't recognise each other's jumper - we were all just covered in mud.

The League was actually an initiative by the Fitzroy FC in the late 60's. Some pretty handy footballers were recruited out of the area over the years with Doncaster and Templestowe being in the Fitzroy zone and Greensborough being in the Collingwood zone. Had we still had zoning today - Matthew Kruezer and Nick Stevens would have been Collingwood players and Marc Murphy a Lion.

I know Kreuzer went to Loyola College as did the Shaw's

I also met the guy who 1st wrecked Judds shoulder.. Alex someone..

I thanked him because if he had not have done it Judd would have gone 1 and would still be at Hawthorn.

Actually Agro Junior's Uncle (my brother - I wont roll eye emoticon because I know he sometimes lurks around here :P ) played in this League for Bulleen/Templestowe in the 80s - in those days he played with Anthony Parkin (David Parkin's son) and in their junior days that group of boys used to be known as the "Cardio Kids" for their penchant for their last quarter come from behind wins.

Games against Beverley Hills were always a highlight.

Has Tim seen Jobe kick? If I was Juddy I would of kept the ball to myself too!

ahhhh beverley hills...i played there briefly. we couldnt play at zerbes cos the ground was always [REDACTED], but it was a good club, i assume it still is. i was pleased they have gone back to being called beverley hills as for a time they were called east doncaster if i recall correctly. one of my uncles played there for sure, he was there when they were zoned to fitzroy but the lions fudged some paperwork and he ended up going to the saints. not sure about another one though, he ended up at carlton (under 19s and perhaps reserves, not 100% if he got past 19's) but im not sure how.

i remember playing st. marys...they wore port adelaide jumpers. terrible. a proud jnr club all the same.
