r4 1982 help please

Post subject:  r4 1982 help please
i am hoping that somebody on here can help me.
i am after footage of the tv replay of r4 1982 between Carlton v Hawthorn at Princes Park, this was a tight game until early third quarter when Carlton kicked about 8 goals in twelve minutes, and ended up winning by 10 goals.

Afl video and name a game cannot help, neither can channel 7, so if anyone can help me out, i would greatly appreciate it.

We just about won every game in 1982 by kicking 8 goals in 10 minutes of the 3rd quarter. :wink:


But it doesnt matter because the flowers at Channel 7 have erased most of the games - unless "Name a Game" have any of those games I dont know who does. :evil:

was that the one where johnno got 12 kicks in 10 mins playing on wallet? or perhaps that was the year later. think we lost the return match in 82 where we had heaps of injuries. yabby said that if they couldn't beat us that day they were never going to beat us.

what about trying the abc? they used to do the winners and i'm sure that game would've been shown ...

Hey, that's my joke! For, *gulp*, 26 years I've been saying we won the 1982 flag while playing only for a quarter of the season....

I may have a copy of that quarter, but if so it is on an old beta videotape, which hasn't been played in years and is probably covered in 3 cms of dust.
