Carrazzo drops the footy two-handed from waist height when kicking the ball. I'd like him to be taken aside by Bradley or Williams for some one-on-one coaching on guiding the ball to foot with one hand.

Next.

Tackling Practise and not just powder puffing on a red tackling bag.

Has to be tackling practice... our best tacklers are Gibbs and Simpson

Kicking in after a point strategies, other than chipping sideways.

Going with the FIRST option when kicking in after an opposition behind.

Moving the ball on immdiately, even if it's a dinky pass into the back pocket. The stagnancy is killing us.

Skills, skills and more skills.

When they've got that right, they should turn their focus on skills. Once that's down pat, they should further improve their game by doing more skills sessions.

Towards the end of each session, they should warm down by doing some skills related work.

Finish off with skills, and that should cover it.

Definitely.

Get some of the Storm players in to teach them how to stick a damn good hard tackle.

If they have tried that already, ask a different player!

Here's one...

Kicking at goal from a set shot.

Other than Fev and Fish, this seems to be a bit of a coin toss with our guys.

They should be able to nail 45 out of 50 shots on goal from a multitude of angles and distances.

And PROPER set shot practice, over a man on the mark, trying to put them off, not just kicking.

There's too much concentration on the flashy dribbled goals over the basics.

I would like to see our players kicking from varying distances and trying to get the ball inside a garbage bin. They can do this on the run or off one step after pushing back (as you do after a mark or free kick) and kick when they get to their last step. The object is to "train the brain" into being able to measure / weight a ball to a moving target (even though you are kicking at a static target).

Anyone remember the ball Scotland tried to give Gibbs late in the last quarter on Saturday night ... he missed by a fair way ... a Luke Power can do this ten times out of ten because he has the ability to measure / weight his kicks.

Something really lacking on our list is players that have a few tricks with their kicking.
