This week we went for Paul Bower's run and carry in the last which to us demonstrated a turn in the game. From stagnant to a hard run upfield, even if he has our hearts in our mouths, Bower wins this weeks POTW: http://www.carltonfc.com.au/News/NewsAr ... wsId=59300 ps Yes we know many of you will have picked a different moment. The upshot is that these things are meant to give us the chance to chat to a different guy each week and learn abit more about them. Otherwise it'd be Juddy and Murph each week. |

FLOWER anyone picking a different moment!! This was legitimately the one I was raving about at work for the first 3 days of this week.... "Did you see Bower?? Did you?? Went "Stuff IT", picked the ball up and went straight up the guts, setting up a beauty. God I love that Gangly bloody mongrel"...... |

Molsey, I reckon you got the exact right moment. It was the most impressive I've seen Bower do, and it changed the game for us. We were heading for a certain loss until the bowser got the ball, and instead of looking backwards and sideways like everyone else in the backline, he looked up, had the balls to stare down the monster and propelled us toward a game changing goal (fair kick from simmo too). Go Paul Bower, I hope you make it. |

Couldn't have said it any better myself! Molsey, you definitely chose the right moment, don't second-guess or question it for another second, y'hear? Pauly's been great this year, and this ballsy moment captured and displayed his improvement perfectly. Great interview, too - thanks guys. |

Carltonfc.com.au should have asked Orangewhip to do the interview so he could throw a question about stirrups at Paul Bower. |

Definitely a worthy winner. That moment seemed to wake the team up and make them steel themselves to put the win away. |

I've watched a few times tonight, as a tribute to the M&D crew. It started with a strong tackle by Russell, (just after a shot of the guy with the CJ = JC poster) which forced out the ball to the Embley who had to hurry his kick after pressure from Simpson. Bower marks, runs, handballs to Carrazzo who handballs to O'hAilpin who runs, holds off handballing to Simpson, bounces finds Simpson in a better position with a long handpass and Simpson puts on the afterburners for a sensational goal. |

Carrots was clean with his hands too in ensuring the ball got to Simmo. Bower's handpass was slight behind Carrots - so he did well. The play was definitely the most important in the game in my mind, because we had stopped to a walk, and all of a sudden Bower reminded us we needed to take the game on. We never looked back! |

Thanks - I made the comment as in recent weeks in a number of forums people have made a comment that they would pick something else. To me, and the Mike & Dan group (8 of us from memory), that's not what this is really about - our job is to promote the Club through 22 interviews through the year. Whether we have the right moment or the best POTW isn't really the issue. dane.... ![]() |

last year i thought he should be dropped and wouldn't make it. now he is probably one of the most improved players at the club. he has already come a long way and is improving everyweek. his kicking and decision making is sometimes a little off, but he is a fantastic runner. i love seeing him run the ball out of the back line and slam it forward. i look forward to seeing him play many games for carlton. |

He is, without a doubt, our most improved player, and looks as tho he could develop into one of those good tough half-backs that we haven't had for a while. A bit of a Michael Sexton look about him. Now wouldn't that be something!! |

I wish he'd take an occasional glance at the bloke he's going to handball to. |
