Ok, we can pretty confidently say that the entire playing list love having Judd in the team and as importantly, around the club.

There have been so many reports of players altering menu selections when going out for lunch, realising the amount of work and professionalism required to play at this level, early on Gibbs said he hadn't slept since he heard Judd was coming to Carlton and later added that everytime he sees him around the club he gets a little wink from him.

Guys like Stevens, Gibbs, Simpson, Carazzo must love the missing attention they're getting with Judd in the team. Bret Thornton and the rest of the defence must love the fact the midfield is functioning so much better with him so they're seeing the ball enter D50 a lot less.

So, who gets your votes for the players who love him most?

1. Marc Murphy. His output has gone up, in part because he gets less attention from the opposition, but he must be like a sponge at the moment, soaking up everything he can. He's been in a team so bereft of leadership and now he has a guy he can follow, watch and learn from everyday. A lot has been made of his role in 'protecting' Judd from the WCE players Friday night.

2. Brendan Fevola. The early favourite. Was seen lurking in the background of every photo Judd was in. Must be licking his lips in anticipation everytime Judd gets the ball and bursts from the middle. So much so that he's spilt a couple in shock at finding the ball in his lap. Contrast to a couple that went over his head early against Adelaide, Fev's job is a lot easier with Judd around.

3. Eddie Betts. From what I've witnessed, Eddie is like a kid in a candy store everytime Judd is around. If he has the ball himself he fires off a handball to Judd. If Judd has the ball, Eddie is off to the races to get free, kicks a goal and turns around with a huge smile on his face to give Juddy a high 5. Anyone paying close attention to Judd's interview on Ch 7 after the game would have noticed Eddie enter the picture to give Judd a tap on the back.

Good post Brad, apart from BlueMelanie who is on holidays and would no doubt say that she loves JUDD and would do bad things to him, I would say my darling Smurph is loving JUDD the most. He seems to standing a foot taller than he did last year and is clearly leading our B&F ATM.

There was a pic in the paper today, which shows Judd on the floor in the rooms after the game with a big grin on his face.

Eddie was next to him and Cloke was next to Eddie. You could almost feel the love for this guy from these two.

Well first person who came to mind was obviously BlueMelanie, continuing the theme of those who love Juddy the most out of the playing group is Ratts, he loves the 'legitimacy' Juddy has brought the Carlton showing them to be a serious footy club who will do all it takes to get out of a serious form slump. He always seems to mention Juddy in interviews with a "gameplan ... Juddy.... the boys .... Juddy ..... ease up training..... Juddy ....... Juddy .....Juddy."

I also noticed in this weeks CTV video Gibbsy walking into the rooms and making a beeline for Juddy, slapping him on the back and then Juddy slinging his arm around him in return. I think he's really in awe of him, with his lack of sleep / wink receiving (no doubt making him weak in the knees) / menu altering ways.

Honestly...how can you not love Juddy?? He's just so darn LOVABLE!!

For mine, it's definitely Smurf.

The ease at which he's been playing this year has been wonderful to watch, and the skills we were promised in a #1 pick midfielder have been displayed. It's obvious to me that he's enjoying a bit more freedom, and the freedom to take on the challenge without being the most accountable and taggable midfielder.

And you'd have to think that Carrots and Scooter are enjoying being able to set up runs from HB with a bit more confidence in the guys upfield too.

 yes that was an interesting comment. I think Juddy is just not a very demonstrative guy on the field.

W'll, I've also offered my daughter when she becomes available (8 years or so), to him and only him.

Not the Silvagni boys, not the Koutas or the Fev's - just to MM. I couldn't think of a better son in law :-D .
