During the game on the weekend one of the commentators mentioned young Steven Browne to remind him very much of Gavin Wanganeen in the way he plays.

Good raps after just two games, hopefully the kid gets there?

Fat Robbo just said that too on SEN. Geez, lets pile on the pressure early. Wanganeen was a decent player. Browney is looking a good player though... 8)

Then lets hope he can pinch a Brownlow from David Myers one day :P

Wankerneen was a miserable diving brownlow thief.

Browne is NOT.

I believe "Moral Triple Brownlow Medallist" Greg Williams concurs with your assessment.

I hope Browne isn't like Wanganeen. He was (and probably still is) an over-inflated softcock showpony.

If he ends up half as good as Wanga, we have done well.

Wanganeen was out of the Campo mould. Good contributor but received almost all of his possession  .

Brown looks tougher than that.

At the nationals last year he reminded me very much of a younger Tyson Edwards, only time will tell.

I think by Wanga, people seem to be looking at how Browne is built [body shape] and looking at that, he does look a bit like him.

Lets hope Browne isnt the sookie boy that Wanga was.

QFT.

If he has some of the skills Wankerneen had, then great.

The rest of the Blowhard can go get flowered.

Underneath the diving theatrics and gobbing of just about every umpire he could get his hands on there was a very good footballer.

If Browne turned out like Wanganeen then i think BO will need to get down on his knees, say he's sorry then swallow whatever Wayne Hughes has for him

Me, i will be very happy if he turns out a good, honest footballer. Ridiculous to be comparing him to Wanganeen, and that from people who should know better.
