I see in the ladder in today's Hun that we're ranked 4th in the AFL for 'Time in Front', think it was 61%. Shows that we probably should be one or two wins better off, and certainly shows the improvement we've made.

yep, I have mentioned to quite a few people that we have been up by about 3 goals in every single game so far.

Also shows we need a couple more pre-seasons on the track.

...to give us the strength and stamina to control games from the start to the finish.

And against the powerhouse teams of the season (such as Geelong, Hawks, Doggies in 2008), we will be able to match them in intensity and give ourselves the same chance they have to win the game; 50/50.

We are heading in the right direction.

We have to constantly remind ourselves, we're talking about the youngest team in the competition which has led games this year 61% of the time.

Fantastic effort.

We have the league's most protected species in our team, Chris Judd. He gets at least 2-3 free kicks given to him every game that others would not earn.

While the umpires keep up the Judd loving, I reckon we need to roll with the punches.

If we keep improving our first quarter and don't let them get a jump on us, we'll continue the form of being in front for most of the game.

Only this week we can say we are an improved team who has learned that red time goals can be controlled.

Lets rooll the Cats in the 4th.

Go Blues!!!
