In the Blueseum you will often hear whispers in the corridors about a fames colour version of the 1970 grand final produced by Phillip Morris. This is the holy grail of videos for Carlton fans, it's existance or non-existance mysterious to say the least. Some say the film lives in the bowels of the Heatley stand others say it was confiscated by the CIA.

Now after all these years it has surfaced!

A visitor to the Blueseum has made contact saying he has a 21 minute video of the match (not the legendary 16mm film originals but beggars can't be choosers).

So in all its glory here it is:

Notice the subtle product placements.

I personally love the 'Second is not good enough' sign in the rooms.

Enjoy. :-D

You've got to hand it to Collingwood...

They play a good first half of football...

Wow - Some of those close ups at ground level put Foxsports to shame. I just relised that i have never seen Big Nick play in colour.

Great find Jars tsn't it?.....I think you will find it was backed/financed or whatever by Rothmans....not Philip Morris (who always supported their local side St.Kilda).

Note at one stage the closeup of the Rothman's pack......

Well done and more power to the Bluseum.

Brilliant!

Shame about missing out on Jezza's mark and the end of the game...

Awesome footage. Some of the slow mo stuff is great. The commentary is a little "Movietone News" and a bit stilted. Less stilted and silly than Channel 7 these days though.

I remember listening on the radio as a kid in high school. Two premierships in three years - Go Blues!

You can tell that Bobby Rose just didnt have it in him just by looking at his demeanour on this day - the killer instinct to land the killer blow - to much of a gentleman I think this rubbed off on his players.

This is absolutely awesome!

I'm not even half way through and I'm almost at full Juddy already!

Apart from anything, the at ground camera angle is brilliant and so close to the action!

What a find! What a week!

GO BLUESSSSSS!!!

1970. WOW. I was there. The best game ever for me without a doubt.
