Was visiting one of the lovely wineries in the Malborough region of NZ on Sunday and could not believe my eyes - they had a line of "Judd" labeled wines there!

The cellar door staff were wondering what the hell I was talking about when I was going off about it - best they could figure was he played Union for one of the super 14 teams...

Anyway, i took a camera phone shot of the "Judd" range of wines and strangely enough, the ones I sampled were very sweet on the palette!

Indeed, it was very gooood Juddy!

That's all from the Christchurch departure lounge for now!

regards

Rich.

Ahhh, the Judd Pinot - can cause a euphoric sensation and light headedness, but won't make you SPEW UP!!

Did they have the "Chateau Courtney Johns"?

Last I heard it was $4.99 for a 5 litre cask.

Translation: "I stole a few bottles when the forklift driver wasn't watching and drank them."

Either that or he's mixing booze with art!

Although pleasant to consume immediately, this wine will continue to develop maturity and honeyed characteristics to 2009
