Not my quote - Pagan's:

Quote:
Barely 24 hours after being embarrassed by Richmond - during which Pagan called his players "schoolgirls and sheilas" at halftime - Pagan handed part-ownership to the players as they prepared for Friday night's game against Geelong at Telstra Dome.

Over to you, Pagan tells players

This reminds me of Parkin:
Quote:
The players were put in charge of match review, collectively and individually, and researching the opposition.

and here's hoping for more of this:

Quote:
IN Round 10, the Blues were hammered by St Kilda by 108 points and, a week later, beat Adelaide by four points.

IN Round 15, they lost to Port Adelaide by 83 points and then beat the Roos by eight.

IN Round 20, they were whipped by West Coast by 62 points. The next week they beat Melbourne by 31.

Plus didn't we recover from the Melb loss to beat Coll the week after?

Well I guess the comebacks were good, but I'm not sure I'd like to see any more floggings this year, or ever!

Going on how we played, I think Pagan's comment was an insult to sheilas and schooolgirls.

There was the women's game on before us, and the little league kids, who all could have pulled the boots on and done a better job...
