i said yes but that's only provided he continues t show improvement every week. if he is falling away towards the end of the season i think his time may be up. and next year is a, wait for it, 'make or break' year for him.

I voted yes, but he really does need to improve his disposal and decision making, so I am cautiously optomistic he will.

Seems that he doesn't have the confidence to produce what is required, maybe that is because he is not good enough.

I say give him every opportunity this year, and if he doesn't cut it, look to trade him back home to Adelaide.

What's his best position anyway? Seems like neither Ratts or JR know the answer to that.

At this stage of the season, this thread is ridiculous and insulting.

Ask again any in 4 months.

Based on this, and the Pros & Cons thread, I'm starting to think shuffagus has an agenda or is a troll.

Or is he just one of those fickle supporters who likes to bag his own team's players?

Shuffagus you state he had an average game, but IMHO most of our team had an average or below average game yesterday.

JR had one of his better games and like a lot have stated he has been improving from the previous week.

Or maybe you don't know much about footy? Or perhaps you didn't have a good seat yesterday (or god forbid you watched it on tv and have the gall to pass judgment from your living room?!!..I know some do)

Look I wouldn't have lauded his efforts but he was a good performer for the most part yesterday. His errors are pretty glaring...but you're expecting them as well (don't deny it). He did more 1%'s yesterday than any other week this year and after his mishandling development wise by coaches now gone - it's only right to see what type of footballer he can become in what is a development year for the club.

Even though I watched it on tv it was easy to see the 1%'ers he applied all game. His problem appears to be above the shoulders, confidence wise.

no way. we should not continue to have sh*t players on our list.
goodbye to russell, saddington, wiggins & ackland. would rather put in a future KPP who needs to be drafted now, not in 2 years time when we are going for finals/premiership.

harsh but true IMO.

My view too.

I was hoping that he would go away but unfortunately he's hanging around like a bad smell.

He along with majority of our younger players need time to mature. Each game they get under there belt they will be better for it.

It's a new structure, new coach, new direction and these kids will flourish over time, develop seasoned football bodies and watch there confidence grow.

You got to remember Ratts is still looking at this list to see who he needs for the direction he wants to go with. He will recruit and turn over players until he gets the right nucleolus. Maybe JR is the player he thinks he needs.
