Man, the list is getting smaller at last. What's going to happen in a month when these guys are gearing up for selection??

Is Hadley on the long term injury list? Who else is on it?

Carlton Injury Update Monday 7 July 2008

Dennis Armfield - Finger - 1 week

Jordan Bannister - Hamstring - Test

Clinton Benjamin - Quad - 2 weeks

Paul Bower - Shoulder - 3 weeks

Richard Hadley - Groin - 3 weeks

Ryan Houlihan - Hip - 3 weeks

Houla said on CFC TV that he was at least 4-5 weeks away. I would be surprised if he played a senior game this year as there are only 8 weeks left, which gives him a possible 3-4 weeks of game time and that's before he has had a run in the Ants.

Don't think Hads is a LTI. Looked fairly upbeat on his CFCTV interview.

Now that Walks is back I don't think we have any LTI's. Dave Ellard would be back as a rookie I presume..

Walker has injured his good shoulder. Not sure how bad it is but Ratts said it was more precaution than seriousness as he is returning from 2 shoulder ops and they didn't wanna cause him more harm both physically and mentally

Andrew Walker had precautionary scans following yesterday's match against Sydney and it has been confirmed that he strained a muscle in his left shoulder and will hopefully be available for this Sunday's game against the Western Bulldogs

Sadly, that means i wont get to see him play 50+ games for the Blues.

:(

(cause it looks like he'll be gone by seasons end)

Agree CB, I think he's just what we've been missing for a majority of this year & he showed how much a better side we are when he's in. I also think he is going to continue to hurt himself more in the future tho, because of the "break-neck" speed he takes the game on with. That's just the way he plays. Hopefully, as he gets maturer, he will curb his intensity at the contest just a little bit - not too much tho! :)

Little bit more info on Setanta's injury from Teaguey's Bullants wrap
Quote:
We've had a few injuries lately with Setanta O'hAilpin out on the weekend. He's had an ongoing sore calf that is to do with the nervous system in his lower leg. We're not sure when he'll be back.

That's disappointing, and at the moment he's seeing some specialists about it because it's a bit of a different injury, but hopefully he'll be back soon and playing well

Would be excellent if all three of HouliDouli, Hadles and Bower were fit to play. :-D

He's taking longer than expected to get better.
