Post subject:  Hadley in doubt for tomorrow ?? + Superstar back at the club

Just got back from training this morning.

Hadley took no part in any of the squads drills.
Trained with the injured members of the team (handball skills) - Blackwell Saddington and Walker.

Has to be in some doubt I think.
Carlos, AB and Armfield trained with the squad for tomorrow.

Walker did kicking / marking (one hand) drills with Greg Williams - was great to see the Diesel back at the club.

I knew that Crow cawing outside was a bad sign.

Fingers crossed they're just saving Hadley for the game.

That's not good news.

But DIESEL at Carlton is great news

If that's the case - straight swapsies for Bentick - with Bentick having dusted off the cobwebs last week and playing out of his skin for his future.

I was wondering why Hadley was named on the bench.

Diesel also spent some quality time with TC's Paul Bower trying to pass on some handball magic.

At one stage early on Ratt's, Braddle's and Diesel played handball/kick/mark together. They'ze still got it. :-D

From memory did Hadley not train at all the last session before the collingwood game as well??

Could be part of a tailored prep for him maybe!

That's awesome! Now this is what is called 'bringing back the old carlton'

I hope Diesel comes back more regular. One of the best players in the history of footy .. should have had 3 brownlows

I hope Hadley makes it to the ground. Against the Crows on a wet track, we'll need all the hard nuts we can get.

Hadley's got a slight groin injury, near enough to guaranteed he won't play. If there is one player we can cover its Hadley with Bentick. Lose a little but its not catastrophic.

Importantly it doesn't upset the balance of the team, both play very similar roles.

god no, not Bentick. He is the slowest player in the AFL and will be exposed on a big MCG.

Is that your only argument against Bentick?

average disposal and decision making. add to that he is very very slow. possibly one of the slowest players of all time.
Bentick is reminder of how bad we were 2002-2007. he has no place in the team moving forward.

I could have sworn you said the exact same thing last week.

Not that he proved either of us right, but for one, he is NOT the slowest player in the AFL.

and according to H/S he got 100% effectiveness for his time on ground last week.
