was a really long time ago.

Is this how Tigers fans felt in 1993.... could they see the next one just around the corner after 8 years at the bottom?

I have a flag craving.

Noone really suffers the first 5 years after a flag. They even made the 82 GF and then they had a couple of years finishing 8th until the real pain sunk in.

A bit like our 96 - 2001 seasons - There were some shockers mixed with some success and then ........ So it was about 8 years at the bottom

It proves to me that talk of expansion teams etc is way too premature until they have a system where Carlton and Richmond can get themselves off the mat.

They designed this socialist system of drafts and salary caps etc... well it aint working.

Why introduce new teams when you have Richmond and Carlton continually anchored to the bottom of the table>?

Of course some of the problems of both clubs have been brought on by themselves, but surely in a socialist afl system no club is supposed to be as bad as what carlton and richmond are?
