He's using the old primary school mentality. When someone's ignoring you, call them names and act tough. When they keep ignoring you, do it louder. He's a child, a child who broke his boo-boo. Let him huff and puff all he wants, the less we pay attention, the more likely it is that he'll say something that REALLY gets him in the shit, and things will take care of themselves.

As Deano said, he's not worth wasting precious seconds of the day.

I think the fat turd is just a little worried. We played Kreuz in his #1 game and Judd at 24YO thrashed the bummers. We can only get better, but this Essendon* side is playing at its max.

If he was hooking into the filth or the Aints we'd all think it was hilarious. He has to be controversial to get an audience. The most effective way to hurt this Flower-wit is to ignore him. Dont buy the paper, dont hit their website. If everyone that barracks for Carlton stopped buying/reading his paper it would make an impact.

Antagonising us all to get onto web-boards and call him names etc only feeds the controversy. Ignore him and like so many sh1tstirrers he will slowly disappear. By recognising him in any way you are feeding his infamy and thereby his relevance. Is there anybody out there in TC land that subscribes to his tawdry rag? How many hits did this article get through our own insecurity and anger at the guy?

Mental note to self: Do not open, read buy or visit any print or online material from the Australian whilst this loser draws breath!!

He really does have a serious issue, and refuses to see it.

On SEN, when challenged on whether he had an anti-Carlton bias, he laughed it off as being ludicrous.

Yet anyone who works in the area of emotional intelligence knows that someone would only use derogatory labels ("The Price Fixer", "The Sycophants") does so as a reaction to their emotions. If he were just making a point, he would make reference once, then move on.

Smith is so clearly caught up in his emotions regarding Pratt and Carlton tanking, yet he cannot see it. For Australia's national newspaper to allow such journalism from it's leading football writer is nothing short of disgraceful.

first time that I have read one of his articles in years and I am disgusted, for those of you who haven't read it allow me to highlight something:

he uses the word Sycophant to describe us, Carlton, a total of 7 times, very childish behaviour. For the record this is what it means:
