![]() http://carltonfc.com.au/default.asp?pg= ... eid=201629 A panel chosen by the club have decided on a shortlist of 'memories' from Princes Park to be whittled down to 10. Would love to know who has seen the most of these memories in the flesh. I will kick things off, only saw three live, Bradley's Goal (was right behind it), The Milburn Incident and AW's debut. here they are: • Peter Bosustow’s mark of the year in 1981 • Craig Bradley’s banana goal against West Coast in 1994 • John Nicholls v Polly Farmer – their first contest at Princes Park • Stephen Kernahan’s winning goal against Hawthorn in 1993 • John Nicholls v Ken Boyd resulting in Ken Boyd being suspended for 12 matches • The 1945 Bloodbath Grand Final won by Carlton in front of nearly 63,000 • Carlton’s record score against Hawthorn in 1969 – 30-30-210 • John Nicholls clash with Len Thompson in the late 1960s. • Malcolm Blight’s match winning goal after the siren in 1976 • Anthony Koutoufides domination of the West Coast Eagles in 1996 • Mike Fitzpatrick’s time wasting against Essendon* in 1981 • Mark Maclure, head down chasing and running into Mick Nolan without seeing him • Stephen Silvagni-Darren Milburn incident and the crowd reaction • Bruce Doull’s 300th game • Andrew Walker’s outstanding debut in 2004 • Harry “Soapy†|

Being that I have only been in Melbourne for the past 5 years I havent seen many except the Silvagni- Milburn and Walker matches. Do remeber sitting there the day we played Adelaide a few years ago when the world was about to end, lightning and thunder everywhere, stayed till the very end. |

I've only seen these 3 live myself. Jarusa wrote: • Craig Bradley’s banana goal against West Coast in 1994
• Stephen Kernahan’s winning goal against Hawthorn in 1993 • Anthony Koutoufides domination of the West Coast Eagles in 1996 What about Kouta's game against the Kangaroos? IIRC, 38 possessions 14 marks, 5 goals. The same match Houla played his first game. I'm surprised this didn't make the list. ![]() |

Saw these live: Jarusa wrote: • Peter Bosustow’s mark of the year in 1981

It was made more remarkable by the fact of the weather - as you can see from Buzza's knees, it was boggy and the ball heavy. The rest were great, the skills of braddles and sticks, kenny hunter's courage, but the other two that stand out for me involve the crowd: Jezza and Magro, and SOS and milburn. In the Jezza incident the crowd just went silent, a collective deep breath of disbelief and shock. That breath was exhaled when Fitzy put Magro down on the goal line later in the game. SOS and that F@#k'N C$%t Milburn was just pure anger, immediately. Sos running with the flight looking over his shoulder, getting cleaned up by the idiot running the other way. The crowd went beserk, and then he gave us the "bird". flower, lucky he wasn't lynched. |

What about the days when there was a sell out at Optus (99-01) and we were dominating and kouta was dominating. My favourite part about those games was when the crowd would roar in unison..."KOUTA KOUTA KOUTA!" Used to send shivers down my spine...and still does just thinkin about it! There's something special about OO. We felt at home there! It always had teh most magnificent 'Carlton Atmosphere'....TD just doesn't have the same effect. In fact it has NO effect! I'll miss the place and I'll miss the moments! |

The Buzza moment was pretty special. Wow.. so many great moments to chose from. What a club/What a ground. Also there was that match in 82 against the Swans when we kicked 10 or 12? goals in the first quarter. |

One that's missing that obviously isn't as high profile but sticks in my head... Jarrad Waite's goal in 2003 against Melbourne, the day after Vinny passed away. I realised that day that the kid had something. |
