Hi guys I'm in Brissy and just wandering if anyone knows if there is a broadcast of the game tonight up here. I'm a bit worried that both FOX sports and Channel 10 are showing the Lions game. If this is true I will go absolutely mental. Please tell me it is not. Anyone know? |

That is true, but don't worry, the game is being broadcast live from 6:00 on Fox Sports Plus (channel 518, normally the Main Event channel). |

Nuts.. I don't have that channel.. Only Fox sports 1 and 2. I'll have to go somewhere. Seriously why broadcast the same game at the same time?? I think theres quite a few Carlton and Essendon* supporters up here it should be on Fox 1. |

No, you have it. Check it out. It's just previews now, but scroll forward to 6:00 and the guide says the game is starting. I'm a little hung over atm so I won't go into the technical details, but the Fox Sports channels don't multi-channel into each of the different states like the footy channel used to, so they set aside Main Event for Friday night games, and any Lions/Swans game that conflicts with a fox broadcast being picked up by channel 10 into Qld/NSW. You don't have to pay a thing, by the way. |

Nah I don't. I don't have normal foxtel I'm at a uni accomodation where we just get like 20 of the foxtel channels.. main event not one of them unfortunately. Might be down to the pub. Still think it's ridiculous showing the same game on free to air and fox 1 |

It is ridiculous, but unless the footy channel makes a comeback, we're stuck with this arangement. Sorry about that, hope you're able to find a pub playing the game. |

Thanks for the help guys. I caught the first half at the pub then they started kareoke so i couldnt hear squat. So now listening to radio and watching gameday live. Was pretty ticked off but the last 10 mins have made me happy. judd. and FEVOLAAAAAAA. |

Just another reason I hate those sydney swan cauliflower. We get stuck with their rubbish game on both Fox and FTA and no coverage of Carlton. Scum. |
