I know the pre-season honeymoon has really gone and Im still disappointed about the opportunities lost in the Tigers game but lets get to the MCG on Saturday to support our young team - this is the match to get fired up about - I hate Essendon* not just because of Lloyd or Fletcher or Mcveigh but because they challenge our claim to be the best most successful side in the history of the VFL/AFL -Unlike the Carringbush who you can bet will fold at the crucial moment this mob dont always - their recent premiership success in 1993(extraordinarnarily bad memory ) and 2000 means they are a serious challenger to our throne -thank god for 1999- we need to exert a superiority over them as soon as possible. Ive just gone to Ticketmaster to add several to our contingent on Saturday night against the worst of enemies in Essendon* -Our young team has a real chance this week - Get out there to the G ON Saturday night and lets outnumber them in our support and voice and after a 100 point drubbing last week lets all smell the fear when we get a couple of goals up on Saturday night and then go for the jugular - we have waited thirteen weeks its about time we put the hammer down Lets hope the Cruise missile debuts this week - a win in his debut game would be awesome - we see a further development of Murphy Gibbs Setanta Hampson Bower Edwards Jamieson and these are the backbone of our next generation of stars Lets hope our senior core is also stung into action Lets hope we are all singing We are the Navy Blues about 10.00 or so Saturday night. |

Hear, hear! I could think of no better way to fire up our season than to give those scumbags a going over. Geelong showed what a one-dimensional pack of showponies they are, let's reinforce it. |

I'm a bit more confident going into this match. We always perform well against the Bombers. Hopefully Lloyd is held goaless again this week...No Lucas is a bonus for us. |

I think we'll win. I'll lap it up cos I reckon we won't have many happy weekends this year. |

The fact that a couple of their speedsters are injured and wont be playing has slightly increased my confidence for a win on Saturday.. However,we cant take the Bombers lightly and they ll be well and trully snarling after last week and out to gain back some respect... |

wasnt confident against Richmond wasnt confindent against St Kilda but am pretty confident against this mob. pace pace pace thats all i hear from Essendon* supporters. what flower rubbish. our midfield, will destory theirs. and we will probably draw even at either end of the ground so the game will come back to the midfield. and we hold all the cards. Judd, Stevens, Murphy, Gibbs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Johnson, Watson, Stanton, Houli and who ever else the think is good enough to play in Midfield |

Hope we win, but whether we win or lose, I only hope we make the pricks earn it. |

No excuse tonight -really see if we are improving if we beat another side that really isnt a final contender Let our youngsters outshine theirs - get a couple of goals up and take it from there Fev needs a big one 2 hours to go a walk through East Melbourne and then spiflication of Bombers |
