em...

Well, they say it's great to get persecuted when you stand up for churchy type things, so here goes. If nothing else, it'll give some of you a good laugh probably and don't we all need that after Thursday night!

Can I suggest, quite seriously that we stop comparing Chris Judd to Jesus Christ or that he's our Messiah..

I realise that all the references in this regard in the various threads are all tongue in cheek, but I reckon, no matter what or who you believe in, it just doesn't make sense to keep comparing a football player to someone who throughout history has been considered throughout the world as a holy deity. You do it enough times, it's gonna create some bad Karma.

I keep thinking about how the press back when the Titanic was built kept saying that even God couldn't sink it. I'm not saying I think a thunderbolt's gonna strike his left knee or anything if we keep it up. Quite possibly, a Collingwood supporter colleague of mine put it best in an SMS she sent me Thursday night after the game.

"Judd isn't the messiah, he's just a very naughty boy!!"

Feel free to pay out on me for this post - apparently that's a good thing for us so called happy clappers although you would never have confused me as a believer if you were sitting near me watching the game on Thursday night! Geeze, I'm not even gonna make it to church in the morning - it's my turn for a sleep in!

Thus endeth the lesson.

Now you should all go way and say 5 our Jezzas and 3 Hail dominators for your sins!

Oh, and Happy Easter everyone!

Rich

Well he is our Savior, on a Football Scale that is. Not so much a Savior that he is going to win Flags for it, but he has changed our Culture and has put some hopes after a miserable 5 year period.

He has become so quickly the Face of Carlton.

Not believing in any form of 'god' I think we should call Judd, Godot - after all, we've been waiting long enough!

We should re-name him Jim Judd and Princes Park should become Juddtown.

Kool-Aid shall be our new sponsor.

We're all gonna die I tells ya!
