Plenty of clapping.

When he went past my section he got a standing ovation from all supporters for his contribution to the game.

Yep we had our section standing even Richmond supporters. For all the troubles with Big Red in the last couple of years he was still a Carlton player and he deserves respect. He did some magnificent things for us before his body just couldn't keep up with the demands of the game. No need to continue eating his lunch now that he's gone.

The AFL members on the lower level, both Carlton and Richmond gave a standing ovation to Lance.

Sorry I missed it. I would have loved to acknowledge all the good things he did for us. Pity his body is shot, but it was always a risk with his body shape.

I think we actually missed the big fella on the park.

At his best, he was a gun in our side....Just look at some tapes from 97-01. A great talent, lost because of his own restrictions.
