If you could add any Carlton Great into our team today who would it be?

Not the greatest Carlton player ever, but the one who would fix the most of our current woes.

For mine it is either Fullback or Ruckman.... So Mike Fitzpatrick, great ruckman and a great leader, or Steven Silvagni, fullback of the Century!?

SOS, would rank him in our top 5 ever, but I cant think of a bloke we could more use in our team.

Yours?

Always had a soft spot for Sexton down back.

Sticks up forward to go us more options.

Big Nick in the ruck.

My pick would be Bruce Doull and if I could pick a 2nd player it would be Wayne Johnston. I think that both would still be great players in the modern game.

SOS, Kouta or Sticks

SOS as we desperately need that Key Defender. Everyone goes up a grade as SOS takes the most dangerous forward.

Kouta for obvious reasons, he was the most brilliant player we've seen. Imagine him working in tandem with JUDD

Sticks for his leadership and ability to play CHF. I've got no doubt that with todays training methods Sticks would have been able to play at CHF for longer, rather than fiishing his career at Full Forward. Oh, and imagine him with a third umpire around and defenders not being able to put hands in his back or chop his arms!!

I think Andy McKay would be pretty useful right about now. One of my favourite all time players.

These 3 players at their top slotted into our side right now and I would not be lining up for Grand Final Tickets.

I would be lining up for Celebratory Premiership Dinner Tickets.

Silvagni clears brilliantly to the waiting Gibbs who turns and handballs over the top to Judd. Judd bursts through, chips to Murphy who handpasses to Judd running through again, his opponent nowhere in sight. A kick to the half forward line and KOUTAFIDAMIDES nearly takes a big mark. The ball hits the deck and the goliath's giant arm plucks the air conveyance from the turf, tucks it under and arm and rounds three opposition players. Look at the adonis go, what a man. He ignores Fevola and goes long to the goal square where Kernahan pulls down a terrific mark!

Here come Caaaaarlton!

Doull

Or

Big Nick - but I reckon he might be a tad short and slow for todays game

Steve Silvagni, without even a moment's hesitation - and if I can't have him, it'd be Doull. The only test would be their ability to play the modern game, but that aside, I reckon these blokes would prevent a lot of the current worry and heartache.

So, how many years until Jack hits draft age?

SOS.

Our defence is our biggest weakness at the moment. Up forward we have Fev, Fisher and Kreuzer coming through.

He could always be relied upon to go forward and kick a couple if required.
