I have not looked forward to an opening round this much in MANY years! Today is very much a watch the clock day.... God bless the AFL for giving us the first game of the season. Yep, time seems to be ticking slowly ATM. I'm about to go finish packing the kids stuff for their sleep over tonight and when my SIL gets here we'll be off to the train station... 
I just hope my hubby makes it through the last minute crowds when he leaves work this arvo 
I've been looking forward to screaming out JUDD all summer and now I have almost lost my voice with this damn cold

bloody 6:10 start. finish work at 5 and it's gonna be hard to get into the city as many people would be going home for the long weekend. |

I'm excited for tonight as it's the beginning of our resurgence - it feels a bit like 1992, but multiplied by 3 - Williams, Hogg, and Spalding, were important acquisitions to the team 2008 - Judd, Hadley, Edwards (first game) for tonight's game. BUT I think we will get beat tonight, purely because of the ruck situation and the events of the past week affecting the players - I sincerely hope I'm wrong!!!
