Guys and Gals, As per Tuesday night, Gene Simmons Family Jewels will be filming more scenes at Pug Mahones from 3:45pm - 5:30pm Saturday 14 March...People are needed to assist in the scenes! KADE SIMPSON along with at least another player will be there. I can tell you on Tuesday we had a blast hanging out with Saddo, Couttsy and Gene, whilst being involved in a few scenes. We also did a fine job of eradicating the bar tab they put on for attendees. Please assist as this is an opportunity for Carlton to get exposure (Collingwood wanted to do this!) on television - I assume for nothing. On arrival please ask for Melissa, and tell her Dermot sent you. I can't stress enough that this is something the club is involved with, and a hell of a lot of fun, so if people have nothing better to do, get along! Cheers, Dermot |

I couldn't get those up! I'm not one for taking photos, however, Doc Sherrin should have a couple of happy snaps he can share. It was a good afternoon had by all, alcohol aplenty, and a few birds doing the rounds amidst Carlton banter. |

Yeah - got a couple of 'me with Gene' with the Nokia...but certainly not what you'd call quality pics. 2.5 hours to film a one-minute scene - I don't think I'll ever look at reality TV the same way again! Kade Simpson's acting work was impressive...off camera Gene asked him what position he played in and Kade replied with "I just run everywhere mate". Was an honor to see Gene up close doing what he does best - pick up women who are 30 years younger than he is. Those one-liners would have been handy about 12 years ago - but I think the Generation Y'ers are a little tougher for Gene - so it was, unfortunately a little sad. That being said - his support for the footy club is appreciated. So later this year on Fox8 you'll be able to see some brilliant acting skills from me, Dermot, Gene and Simmo...if it appears online before Fox8 show it - i'll make sure to post the link. |

First session was on Tuesday at the Clyde, the second at Pug Mahones. Both are on Elgin Street Carlton, and both were a blast. I'll try and track down a couple of pics. |

a good friend of mines 20 year old daughter who is usually an extra on different shows was hired for one of these events. On Saturday night she got a phone call from Gene Simmons, something along the lines of - 'we're having a quiet night in the hotel tonight, you should come along', she responded saying she is only 18, his response was he preferred it if she was 20 but it's good to 'come' along anyway - she told him he was disgusting. |
