We can't be going for Naitinui already - we'd never fit everyone under the salary cap. Not unless McChinns has made more progress on cap increases? Mandy? ![]() |

Quote: Fisher, however, could be ready to return sooner than anticipated, perhaps in round two.
![]() Not too bad re Kreuzer, we can ease him in when the time is right, no need to rush things. |

Fisher is notorious for coming back from injury sooner rather than later. Gotta love that about the kid. |

Thats ok. With Hampson out it would have been too tempting to play him in the ruck anyway. |

bloody hell!! If we have to play a ruckman who's underdone we should play Ackland and do the right and put the young blokes in cotton wool. |

Prior to this announcement Kruezer was going to debut in round 1. In other words he is ready to play seniors. Bad luck to the young fella. It makes things harder for us in round 1....maybe Jacobs will come in...I don't think he's ready...I don't think we have a choice: Already out for round 1: 202 Hampson 203 Aisake 200 Kreuzer 196 Ackland...although not on injured list Who does that leave?: 195 Cloke 200 Jacobs (rookie) 199 Setanta (underdone) 196 Hartlett (not conditioned for ruckman...engine doubtful) This is a real issue...and some suggested we had too many rucks on the list when we recruited Kreuzer and promoted Aisake (or lose him to the draft). Who is going to ruck with Cloke? Jacobs or Ackland? Setanta? I can't believe that Ackland is on the radar. This situation is dire. |

Jacobs looked alright for the Ants last week against opposition with AFL experience (Fanning, McLaren). Not ideal, but he has made some good progress |

Jacobs or Ackland? Setanta? I can't believe that Ackland is on the radar. This situation is dire. I'd select Jacobs because he has the kms in the game and has shown good form throughout the preseason campaign. |
