Not sure if this has been discussed/reported elsewhere, but Greg Swann & Greg Miller were both on KB's show this morning. I only caught part of it, but I was pleased to hear Swann:

- say that Judd was NEVER going to Richmond and that media talk that they were even in the picture was "just part of the game". :-D KB said something about Richmond nearly pinching Judd off Carlton (he didn't use the words 'box seat, unfortunately), and Swann just cut him off and talked over him and completely dismissed it. He said that the only clubs Judd was ever going to go to were Carlton or Collingwood. KB got no support from Miller at all. It was gold. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed KB getting shot down and humiliated :lol:

- say that Fatprick Smith's claims that the AFL want Pratt gone as Carlton Prez are wrong. He even said that the last 2 times The Australian has made those claims, Demitriou has called Swann personally and told him that the AFL does not have a problem with Pratt and that allegation is untrue. Fatprick's credibility (if such a thing ever existed) is in tatters. The guy is a joke and not worthy of our attention;

- pump up the practice match vs the Bulldogs next Friday, and jokingly ask if SEN was going to be calling the game on the basis it is likely to be Judd's first game in Navy Blue;

He also said that Carlton does not intend to have it's own stand alone VFL team in the future, and they are happy with the alignment with the Northern Bullants - especially now that a portion of their home games will be played at Princes Park (because it is an AFL standard playing surface).

Both Swann & Miller were in the studio while KB and talkback callers asked them questions, and Swann came across sounding so much better IMO. Swann sounded articulate, confident and authoritative. Miller sounded like a used car salesman.

Anyone hear the whole thing? Did I miss much?

Hear that skunk Miller claim that Bitchmond would ve picked up Jud in the pre season draft if negotiations between Carlton and Wet Toast fell through... This guy must be really bleeding as every time he's on the radio with KB he says something about Judd...

Shame it was radio. If only I could've seen KB's face when Swann mentioned Judd :lol:

What did the talkbackers talk about?

About par for the course. That's the way he always comes across.

KB knows Miller is useless, he goads him with Judd because he knows that Richmond were nowhere near getting a deal done when they should have been in the race.

One caller raised the subject of stand-alone VFL clubs. The others I heard were disgruntled Richmond supporters - one had a go at Miller about recruiting Jordan McMahon; another was complaining about Deledio being made into a forward when he was drafted at #1 to be a midfielder. Sorry, that's all I heard.
