Had some discussions last week about getting the look of the new Carlton website and the Blueseum compatible.

One of the things I learnt was the exact colour the official site will be using (and I assume the official navy blue).

For those graphics people out there and anyone running or starting a blues website I thought I would share.

Turns out it is a Pantone colour.

The code I was given was PMS296.

Which as an RGB Hex colour is: 031E2F

This colour is now being used on the Blueseum.

Post subject:  The Sturt connection..

Interesting finding out that the two colours of Sturt FC are Oxford Navy and Cambridge Blue (relates to the fact that their homeground is bordered by Oxford and Cambridge Streets in Adelaide apparently)

The link with Sturt is that our Navy Blue is officially listed as the Oxford Navy mentioned above!

How's that for a bit of crap Trivia!

If you took in a Pantone swatch book or colour chip into Bunnings they could probably match it for you. ;)
