well, that's how I read it??

see:

http://www.rippledirect.com.au/Virtemai ... d11a4nvyw7

Obviously that's not exactly what they're saying, but the corporate people at Carlton SHOULD NOT be trying to rope people into this event by mentioning all three players in the same breath without indicating the exact ways in which these players will be featuring on behalf of Carlton.

Can you tell that I've been sucked in by slightly misleading Carlton communications previously?

Good to hear Lowey but it still doesn't allow Carlton Corporate to be vague about the sort of roll he and stevens and Kruizer will play in terms of the round 1 corporate event. People are gonna be forking out hundreds of dollars to attend the event and the Club should be specific about what bang they're getting for their big bucks.

It was like in the old days when the Club would say they were sending a"Senior Players" to Canberra for a player visit, and fair enough we got Hamill but we also got Adam Chatfield!

Its a little hard for them to guarantee what involvement they'll have 3 weeks out.

You can read between the lines, or you can read the lines themselves  .

When they are charging so much money per person they must guarantee their involvement regardless what.

It seems pretty obvious to me. Watch JUDD, Stevens and Kreuzer on the field while eating and sinking as much piss as you can while buttering up your clients. Rock on! Remember, this is a corporate event ie corporate box, not something that plebs would normally go to (not that they are specifically excluded).

Yeh, but what if Judd comes up lame or Kruizer isn't selected? They'd better be rocking up to the corporate boxes on match day, otherwise if i'd dished out the big moula to attend the event based on the ad, i'd be having a bit of a spit!

but then again i'm a typical nitpicking public servant.

I just think they should be clearer about what capacity the players are "featuring" at these events. It's a bit misleading or at the very least, unclear!

So we start selecting the side, regardless of injury, fitness and form, so people attending a corporate function know that they're getting :?
