According to Ratts on 3AW we will be resting all senior players and sending the kids + kids to Alice Springs.

Didn't we beat the Weagles in AS two years ago?

Apprantly the ground up there is absolutely superb. Will there be any radio coverage? IIRC when we played the weagles there it was on local radio and some people could just pick it up.

Hope the yound fellas give a good account for themselves against what will still be tough opposition.

Also hope that our senior players back home rest up and sharpen their skills for rd1.

interview suggested up to 10 changes and mainly senior players so any suggestions as to who might not be going?

At a guess, I'd say the following will miss

stevens
waite
houlahan
thornton
simpson
fevola
carazzo
+2 more?

I'd imagine murphy+gibbs would be playing given that they are still very much developing players

Very very happy with this approach. Hopefully we play the kids alot this year and give them full games when they do play.

why would do be a fine? There is a list of 38 + rookies on the list, there is no law in playing all the kids. You play to win.

I think i rest all of them maybe just give carrazzo a gig,he needs alot of practice, his skills are a concern.I agree on hampson and cloke, should rest them in case of injury.

We should take Judd and sit him on the bench.

Have him spend the entire game doing warm ups past the WCE bench.

Only if he drops his guts every time he jogs past their bench.

Agree with resting Cloke and Hampson, be good to send up Jacobs and Aisake, give them a run.

Murph needs to play a half...get a bit of touch goin...get a few possessions...hit a few targets...get the confidence back...

Crop dusting is an exact science, but I have confidence in our boom recruit coming up with the goods.

Collingwood did that last weekend against West Coast. All the kids went to whoop whoop and the senior players played in Melbourne against Geelong Reserves.
