It really must be killing opposition supporters, that Judd chose Carlton. I can’t believe some comments I have read and heard. One actually hopes that he gets injured and never plays footy again. This came from someone who was drooling at the prospect of Judd choosing their club. They will never get over it.

Poor Judd is going to go from a much loved player who was tucked away, far in the West, to one that will be booed when he gets his next kick. I am sure that we Carlton supporters will deafen the boo’s but they will be there.

Richmond, Collingwood, Essendon* they’ll all have a go at him. I can’t wait really, they will probably boo so often they’ll lose their voices. I’m sure throat specialists around Melbourne will have increased revenue due to lost voices and sore throats; they’ll probably call it Juddyngitis .

I have to admit it would have made me sick to see Judd in a Collingwood or Essendon* jumper. Not because Collingwood or Essendon* got him, but because I would have to admire one of their players. That is damn hard to do. Melbourne was irrelevant, I wouldn’t have been unhappy to see him there.

I have heard the usual Carlton bashing on the radio the last few days. They made me laugh. Comments like “they always go and buy the best player “. That’s right we bought him. We didn’t give anything to get him, just a cheque book right....

Or even better “Hope Judd gets used to winning wooden spoons”. That’s a classic really. If we did win another wooden spoon we would have pick one again right? So they want us to end up last and get the best young talent in the country again. Maybe even another priority pick. Hmmm maybe they should watch what they wish for.

Maybe we Carlton fans are getting too excited that we have Judd. Maybe we should be depressed about it, maybe we should be mopping around “Poor us, we got Judd”.

As excited as I am about Judd. I’m more excited about Jamison, Murphy, Gibbs, Kruezer, Grigg, Hampson, Bower, Edwars and Pfeiffer. Maybe it’s because I’ve already seen what Judd can do.

As for the Pies, Bombers and Tigers, send yourselves silly hating the Rolls Royce you incorrectly dreamed was going to be parked in your garage!!!

You should see the PerthNow site when they post a new article about Judd. The comments form the Eagles supporters just lose the plot completely!

I spoke to one of our WA customers yesterday about footy. He's shattered over Judd.

I loved it!

Does this mean that we are actually in the box seat?

The club could do something thats got not even a millipercentage of negativity about it like donate millions to charity, and the ferals would still bag us simply because its Carlton..

People spend half a decade talking about getting Chris home to represent Victoria, guess they aren't as open to seeing him in a navy and white jumper as they might have thought.

It's done fantastic things for Jono Brown's rep, fans are happy to pump up champions from interstate clubs, but it becomes a little difficult to sing the praises of a Victorian rival.

No they won't get over it, and that pleases me after all the crap we have had to put up with these past six years. Their pain levels will increase when Judd and co start ripping their midfields apart. Boy will they be whinging then.

I think that the truth is they are flowering scared that we are on the way back but most of them are in denial. :-D

Begs the question, would spew that much angst and vitriol across internet forums - had Judd chosen another club (say a Collingwood or something?)

For some reason, don't ask why - but I doubt that we would... let's face it - we would be very sour, but who wouldn't when the best player in the AFL snubs your club. (And in their case, snubs them for a club that is sitting second last on the ladder).

Besides, the deal is done and dusted - sure boo and bag him at the matches if you're the opposition (he'll cope with it, after all he isn't Corey McKernan), but the forums still being inundated with 'Do a knee Judd' posts?! Get over it, he's at our club, deal with it - go back to praising your Didaks, Lloyds, Kerrs, Richardsons and the like.

After all, doesn't it say somewhere -

"Thall shall not covert thy opposition's superstar"?

The Big "V" is a navy blue jumper as well.

Just means they are going to have to get used to seeing him in a navy blue jumper with a "CFC" on it.

So FLOWER THEM!!!!

When are they going to get over it?...

Went to lunch with a Filth supporting mate yesterday and he was going on about "Judd's groin is stuffed" "You lot paid too much for him" and finally "He's not going to make any difference anyway".

At that point I knew he, like all his Filth, Tigger & Scum supporting friends are just scared. They know the reality that is coming.

So in answer to the question...

THEY will never get over it because the truth is too horrible for them....

...and I will love every second
