I think it would be a good idea to give walker a go here when he returns from injury.

The boy is quick, can take a strong mark, would be explosive on a lead, and has a huge leap. I think his kicking has improved alot and while not perfect, is certainly alot better than alot of players on our team. Also his set shot kicking is pretty good from memory.

I figure it will benefit his game to. assuming he is not going to play in the midfield the whole game, a go at CHF might help him if he ever moves back into defence as it will give him understanding of how a forward line works.

I'd give it a go - still like to see him given a go at CHB also

CHF is not the first position i'd be thinking of for a fellow who has missed part of the preseason with a shoulder injury ...

Can't kick will just turn it over. Even worse at set shots. Quite simply.....no.

BO said Andy Walker for CHF, not Andy Carrazzo.

Not a bad wiseguy comeback but if you take a look at Carrots' set shots last year, that's all it is, a wiseguy comment. Obviously you are a big Walker fan so I'll forgive you, sorry to hurt your feelings. :-D

I'm a huge AW fan. Flanks changing on the ball/wing is his best position. Watching him push forward ala Kouta and outmarking his smaller less athletic opponents is what I'd like to see. Didnt he kick a couple of the goals of the year last year - snaps from the pockets!? His kicking is getting better and better and no one has better hands at gathering the ball in our team than AW. CHF is not a position for a guy with bad shoulders.

He could be our next Andy Mackay, has the run, strength and aggression.

You'll probably quote some useless statistic to back up your statement that AW can't kick, but he is still more reliable than Carrazzo and a longer kick on both sides of his body.

Carrazzo has no left foot, but Walker has nailed goals on both sides of his body on the run.

We'll still be struggling if Carrazzo is our B & F in three years time.

Walker shouldn't play CHF, he should ride shotgun for Judd when the latter wins the ball and needs someone to block. 8)

I thought Jordan Bannister was our CHF?

Walker's kicking, both sides, has improved out of sight the last 18 months. With so many young kids these days only working on their dominant side, it's great to see him work so hard at kicking with both feet well.

I would love to see him on a wing this year - just imagine the ball being pushed out to him on the move and then being able to use his burst pushing forward.

I'd love to see him delivering it into Fev & co. He would be a major match-up headache for opposing coaches with his size, speed and ability to hurt teams with his disposal now. Turn him loose!

3rded.

I'd have AW as a high flying highly mobile forward flanker who provides excellent defensive pressure on the opposition.

No to CHF....end up injured....AW is suited to a flank, wing or running on the ball either minding a man or as he showed in his first game just free wheeling around doing his thing.

Hartlett, Cloke and Kruezer to take their turn at CHF.....with Kruezer my long term pick to spend more time there than most..

No to Hadley, Edwards or any other undersized player getting the role either...
