I NEED for us to avenge the 100pt loss last year.

So Carlton by 100 goals.

And one point, just to add insult to the injury.

im sorry to ask cos its probably been covered somewhere in the pt adel match thread, but why was hartlett not in the team yesterday? hopefully its not an injury cos im hopeful he'll have a good year.

You could ask that about many of the omissions who weren't there due to other than injury ..

i knew that all the others who werent in the team were missing due to injury but i hadnt read anything about hartlett and was interested in finding out why...i was really impressed by his first half against freo and was surprised to not see him out there against adelaide, i assumed it was injury but had no way of confirming my suspicions.

A quick snapshot from the Blueseum:

Overall record between the Hawks and Blues....Carlton has a success rate of over 66%

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... v+Hawthorn

Last time we played....Carlton lost by a massive 100 points:

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... 12%2C+2007

Carlton v Hawthorn cross-overs are here:

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php?page=At+Hawthorn

Quick quiz as well (all answers can be found in the above links):

1. Carlton's highest ever score was against Hawthorn...
a) What was it?
b) In which year?
c) Who kicked 7?
d) Who kicked 6, with an amazing 12 behinds?
e) How many goals did we kick in the last?

2. Name any 5 Carlton / Hawthorn cross-overs since 1975....

3. Name the 2 years in which Carlton and Hawthorn played off in the Grand Final.

And for a bonus point, Carlton topped the table in a year in which Hawthorn took the flag, but Carlton were not in the Grand Final. Which year was this?

Who are we expecting to come into the side this week?

Setanta, Hartlett or Walker maybe? I was under the impression that Hadley and Judd were a couple of weeks away still. In Judds case especially im in not hurry to rush him out there.
