Had a quick chat to Nick Stevens during one of his visits to events organised by the NSW supporters group up in Sydney a couple of years back. (Yet another great event those guys have turned on just quietly!) He told me a quick couple of stories about how when playing in Adelaide, the Port supporters would spit at him, face to face from a distance of mere metres.. Lovely bunch of people, what.. It was so extreme, and I'm sure it's no reflection on the intellectual capabilities of the Port supporters that they use to mistake Teague for Stevens when he played there and poor old David would cop an absolute bollocking (and not even from Carlton supporters!!) So, my advice to Stevo for tomorrow night... DUCK!!! My other advice - enjoy yourself son, I know you've missed it! Rich |

Rich Amen - not a single Carlton supporter that won't be happy at Stevens - a fella that bleeds Navy Blue - playing for us tonight... And off-field with his charity work and such (like interchange and so on), a teriffic person in general. |
