Just out of interest for you guys living in Melbourne... there were a lot of shots of the Carlton Crew discussing business at Princes Park on Underbelly last night. Seemed one in every three scenes was of the guys watching the Blueboys train (although the show never once labelled the Club or anything).

I did have to laugh at one scene though. Last night's episode was set in 1995. The Carlton Crew are watching us train in January or February. One of the guys turns to the other one and says, 'it's going to be a long season'.

Oh for another long season like 1995!

That clicked with me as soon as he said it too!

Yeah Vince Colosimo; who plays one of the characters, (name escapes me, but he got shot at his house in Templestowe) is a big Carlton fan. I've seen him catch the train to the game.

Go you good thing.

I thought it a little funny too. But we got bundled out in straight sets in 1994. Too old too slow.

There has to be a deal in Genevieves cafe ...

Everything happened in there ..... well alot did...

The police even used to rent a terrace across the road almost next to Valcorp to survey the joint....

I'm reading the underbelly book at the moment. Apparently, the Morans were mad Carlton fans.

Probably not the sort of people who you'd want associated with the club. The book tells the story that the club loaned one of our premiership flags to line the casket when one of them died (Jason or Mark?), and it took us years to get it back because the Moran's mother assumed it was a gift..... not sure how true all this is.
