First official game of the year. After the shocking skills on display in South Africa I'd be expecting a dramatic improvement, mostly due to a more settled line up and settled positions.

Hopefully we get to see a few new guys in the squad like Pfeiffer, Armfield, Kreuzer and Ellard. Also looking forward to seeing if Harts has another good game up forward.

Really looking forward to this

Won't get to see Judd in action but hope to see some of the newbies as you suggested mjonc

We certainly can't have a 32-man line up for this game! Who do we drop?

Glad to have the chance to barrack for us again.

Once the season starts it is back to hoping (albeit very painfully) that we lose. It is vital we get two top three picks this year.

You're glad to be 'barracking for us' again, but yet hope we lose? Hardly the barracking I'm familiar with.

Go Blues! I'm hoping we start winning some games. Hopeful that we will make the 8.

Honestly BO, you're entitled to your opinion, stating it over and over again only detracts from what you're saying.

You're getting like a broken down record.

What kind of supporter truly would want Carlton to again do badly before the season starts? Who do you really support?

Glad to have the chance to barrack for us again and the comment was posted when the Filth were being flogged in Dubai. Coincidence?

Time for an official inquiry into the allegiances of the said BO ... as per above.

You don't mind someone being another supporter and declaring it. In fact they are welcome but when they don't declare it, I'm not sure whether I feel comfortable with that.

Extraordinary statement by BO. The most amazing post, I have ever read.

I am a passionate supporter and signed up member. I also want what will give us the best opportunity to come out of the darkest period of our history and win two or three flags in a row. I don't want four meaningless wins this year at the expense of two of the most promising young players in the history of the draft.

If people honestly think Jordan Russell, Adam Hartlett, Jake Edwards, Paul Bower, Eddie Betts and some of our other what I would call lesser players can help us get multiple premierships I accept that. But those of you who acknowledge that a Natinui or Hurley or Daniel Rich are better than that lot, but still want to criticize me, I accept that too. But the latter should at least be able to see my point.

Someone who wants to see multiple premierships. SOmeone who wants to look back on this year not as a 2004 when we won 10 games( 10 meaningless games) and missed out on Deledio and Franklin, but as a year when we truly played our kids, and got two top three picks. (As Hawthorn did in 2005, excellent example. Set the stone for their later development).

F$#@ me.

It's the NAB cup. Can we restrict the tanking talk to elsewhere?
