Ever since Ang was forced into retirement, we have been lacking a long-term prospect to take over the "BRUCE!" chant every time they kick the ball.

We tried it with Bryan, but now he's a Pie.

Who has the longest kick at Carlton? Hartlett?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ang_Christou

Quote:
Christou while always be remembered for his thumping left foot kick, upwards of 60-65 metres. Whenever taking a kick, short or long, a chant from the Carlton crowd of "BRUCE!" would always be heard.

We have to get him. Put Fevolution onto the case.

I just find it hilarious to think some guy was sitting in the crowd yelling out "BRUCE!" every time Ang kicked the ball.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it had to do with that great Carlton legend and cult hero, BRUCE REID. By the way, if we did want to nominate someone to take that mantle, I think Ackland would be a very hot favourite. :)

Interestingly there is a link to Christou's Blueseum page at the bottom of his Wikipedia page.

Disappointingly there is no Blueseum page on Wikipedia.

The Blueseum is too factual and accurate to get a page on Wikipedia.

Great pick-up verbs. Im very disappointed that I've incorrectly woofed my whole life.

Just on TBB's point though, what do you mean, there's links aplenty, but you think a page within wikipedia to direct traffic would be worthwhile? I know some forum posters contribute to wikipedia's Carlton page and for a while it looked like there was a competition of sorts between the pages....but then you have a look at the mistakes through wikipedia and have to wonder what percentage is true. I still remember camelboy answering some question that Minton-Connell had played at 6 Clubs and that the source was wikipedia... :o

I'm not sure I really expected to see anything, but when I saw the link to Ang's page on Blueseum I thought maybe something detailing the history of the site, how it was created and grew.

Disappointed probably wasn't the right word to use.

It's Wikipedia's policy not to have pages about other websites unless that website is particulalry historically significant. If someone was to start a Blueseum page on Wikipedia, it would most likely be deleted within the hour.
