Alarm went off just before six this morning, as I lay in bed listening to Nova struggling to get up and go for my morning run. At about 6 they replayed an interview with Twigely where she was mentioning Judd's regimented low-fat diet and routine and how if he ate something bad occasionally he would go on a 5km run to burn it off.

Dave Hughes was saying how a rumour he heard was that Judd was doing sprints in very hot weather and when questioned by the other players as to why he said "... because thats what it takes!".

Needless to say hearing all this talk about the great man inspired me to get straight out of bed for my morning run. Is there no limit to the influence this man can have? :-D :-D :-D

That's OK

If I have something bad it just comes out the other end without stopping long enough to effect me

It's amazing the influence a great player can have

I thought we paid over the top for the best player in the competition. My intial gut feel but gee the more you hear his application and domino effect his having at our club, what price do you put on that? :-D

If the Dave Hughes story is true, then this will set this club up for the future by monumentous proportions. Imagine the effect on players that will be future leaders of this club like Gibbs, Murphy, Kreuzer, Walker, Simpson, etc.?

These sorts of feats and training 1%ers and extras are what makes the difference and if this can be ingrained and passed down - then leadership at this club will be back to the norm, not what needs to be acquired. Of course, success on the field will be a bi-product of this.

I would love to know where he heard this too... sounds like a rumour he may have heard on TC! It's great stuff if its true and adds a whole new dimension to his recruitment.

Compare that to the preparation of our last Captain!
