We won't finish bottom.

Kreuzer won't be a CHF.

Serious? So we're headed for another spoon this year? C'mon dude..... you really think that Judd, one of the most elitle professionals the game has seen, would wanna come to a club so hell bent on again being an embaresment to the leauge again just to pick a kid who 'could' be a good ruckman.

Question? Have you even seen this kid play?

Let this be a lesson to you kids: VOTE HILARY!

Barack, god help us all in the world if your namesake is as negative as you

Nobody noticed but he also had Daniel Rich in the team who many judges rate higher on the pecking order than Naitanui.

So not only does Barack expect to finish last but also with 4 wins or less

Well fook me, you must live a depressing life Barack. Glass is defintely empty in your head :?

Bet you wished you could withdraw this post eh, BO?

Some mind boggling choices in your lineup I must say...

I've got a vague feeling that BO started a tanking for 2008 thread a few months ago. At the time, the Mods threatened a ban for such discussion. Maybe this team is a subtle way of bringing the issue to the fore again. It certainly has got a few posters in this thread talking.

My only two cents' worth is that a premiership in 2010 sounds great!

What your analysis clearly demonstrates is that our list lacks key position strength to open a realistic premiership window. Given that KPP's take 3-5 seasons to develop, I can not see a genuine premiership opportunity opening up until post 2013. I could go into greater detail regarding the merits of Jamison, Austin, Fev's age,& Kruezer as a CHF but I won't. Clearly next year we need to focus on drafting KPP's

Perhaps we can take a key position instead of rich. or snare Lachlan Hansen in the PSD

That might be a problem when there are 4-5 other clubs selecting ahead of us.

Then that would be a disaster. Miss out on the finals but also miss out on a chance to snare some gun talent. Would be 2004 all over again. As I say, screw the system that screwed us.

Barring something spectacular, Rich or Natanui will be the first selected this year. You may as well put Luke Hodge on the half forward flank and John Nicholls in the ruck.

So is this thread another attempt at igniting a discussion on tanking or the benefits of finishing last?

No, you guys brought up tanking. For all I know we could trade our first round picks for the next five years t oget the picks to secure Natinui and Rich (due to rule changes about to be implemented NBA style). Or we could trade for them the year after in 2009. You have implied tanking, and I have responded to your implication :)

No, I said there would be 4-5 teams picking before us in the PSD.
